She's actually one of my favorite characters as far as backstory, though she's really hard to write for.
Essentially her family and Emmy's mom's family had a Montegue vs Capulet thing going on. Lotus (Em's mom) bullied Pandora constantly, creating a bitter hatred and rivalry between the two. Pandora's older sister and Lotus's younger sister ended up in love, but upon discovering them one night Lotus murdered Persephone in a fit of rage. Her own sister lost the will to live after that and slowly withered away until her death. Pandora never forgave Lotus for what she did and pretty much vowed to wipe out her family tree. Emmy is the only branch left.
There's more adventures of Pandora's bad luck but I'm tired and braindead. XD

She's Blade's mom XD She's around 47 and refuses to consider herself "old" until she turns 50. Then she won't call herself old until 60.
Persophone, no. Lotus, yes- but it's an uncolored sketch. I never actually thought too much about what Persophone looked like, but I do know she's a brunette haha. I have even less of an idea as to what Lotus's sister looks like, and I haven't even fully decided on a name yet (she's currently Elizabeth, but I feel like she should be named after a flower too).

She has been since her creation XD She was also originally a minor character whose name I liked too much. As for his dad, I've never actually drawn him but I have a basic idea of what he looks like. I'm still deciding on his name, though I've at least narrowed it down to a handful. I think he's one of my favorite minor characters, his only competition being Milo, Emmy's dad.

lol, your story seems like its a two part deal, all the background stuff then the present stuff. Is Pandora's husband as psycho as she is? and why didnt Blade end up being all "i hate Emmy"?

No, he was actually the one keeping Pandora grounded and sane at the time. She didn't start getting really psycho until her husband died.
Blade and Em's dads were best friends growing up, so the two spent a lot of time together on play dates- despite their moms' wishes. Blade's dad lived by the ideal of defending the weak and standing up for what is right, even if it means making a few enemies. Blade really looked up to his dad, and tried to do the same- thus he was really protective of Emmy, who in turn kind of clung onto him instead of making other friends (it certainly didn't help that he scared the other kids).
It makes me sad that the backstory barely gets mentioned, and a lot of it isn't terribly important to the main story. I only started fleshing it out because the three of them needed a little bit of family history, but then I really liked their dads and it spiraled out of controooool D:

I probably will xD There's actually three stories- the past, present, and future. The future one is really sad and kind of horrible towards Emmy (it involves a forced marriage and an abusive fiance).

She does for a while, but only because if she doesn't he'll hurt her family. Eventually she has enough but it takes a loooong time- like a year and a half. I haven't 100% decided how it turns out exactly (the current idea is she murders him), but I do know she runs away, taking Blade and her little brother with her.

Murder is always a decent decision... for a story that is, lol. They didn't have any kids did they? I'm actually surprised Blade isn't the one that kills him.

Originally there were kids, but I decided to get rid of that idea because she wouldn't likely tolerate him for that long.
Make no mistake, Blade wants to kill him more than anyone- but the punishment for murder is death, and Em constantly begs him not to go through with it ("you're better than that" "I don't want to lose you" "he's not worth it").
