I've been okay. We're still cleaning up storm damage and trying to get my GPA back up. ^.^;

Got all the damage cleaned here,, didnt have too much compared to lots of people.. Just got a leaning tree and a leaning tree stump to remove. No real major damage except bout lost the glass in from storm door.

We still have a yard full of crap that we just can't clean up on our own. We got a good forty inches of water in our house (we weren't home at the time, we were staying at my aunt's), but we have most of the inside cleaned out thankfully. We're supposed to get some help before too long though. I'm glad we're all still alive.

Where ya house at?? I luckily live in Silver Hill, (grantsboro).. Had two friends lose their houses down hobuken area..one now stays in reelsboro and other in small. I think they had water up about 7 inches above bottom of windows. Glad to hear everyone is safe,, thats what really matters.

Cool,,, well i guess you could say im a one man band lol,, not in a regular band,, got some friends i play with and hopefully soon to making music. got new mics, nice mixer, and better sound card..so studio is almost ready

Right on man. A good home studio is expensive to build. We've got one built at my parents house, just got a nice mixer for it. Still a bit lacking in the mic/pre-amp department though. Finding the right guys to play with is tough sometimes. Takes a lot of patience. My band just recorded at Zing Recording Studios and MAN what a difference - we got SUPER spoiled. We've been showing some of our musician friends the rough, unmixed drum files and everyone is going "nice triggers". I love telling them that none of it is sampled.

not trying to get a perfect home studio just want decent. started out with an old 4 track tape recorder, using that and audacity, got pretty good results, still got 4 track but added a 12 input mixer, and using mixcraft and audacity. Havent really recorded alot yet, just getting everything setup. Most of my recordings were on the 4 track and some of the tapes are missing so ill have to see what i can find..drum sound is something im working on, got all new heads so bout to redo drum kit, get it sounding as good as i can, hopefully with the drum mic kit ill get a good recorded sound, the test recording sounded alright. well wish me luck maybe i get demos of my new songs done soon, or find old ones to let you check them out..
