# About me
I am a mixed media illustrator living in Plano, TX! An East Coast transplant, I have a BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I worked as a video editor/associate producer in Baltimore before moving halfway across the country to my beloved Texas and getting back to my roots in illustration and painting. I work mostly with Copic marker and colored pencil, but also acrylics, watercolor, and anything else I feel like experimenting with. You can find me at most shows in the Texas convention circuit, and last year I branched out to several surrounding states. In 2015 you can catch me in Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, Nevada and hopefully making my first return to Baltimore in almost 3 years!# Comments

thanks! Haha and it's arguably not a very smooth transition haha. But I work at it, and hopefully it picks up soon. I like to be involved with different avenues of art, so there's always something going on

What avenues do you enjoy the most? Or do you have a goal you are aiming to reach?
I work a day job and work about the equivelant of full time hours on my art also. Hoping to eventually supliment my day job with income from my creative efforts.
Most of my focus is on the intelectual properties market, Comic books, Novels, Film. I enjoy it greatly.

Well, I did enjoy video editing and certain types of photography (which is what I was doing full-time before I moved to Texas). But right now my goals are 1) to learn how to airbrush and stencil specifically for painting motorcycles 2) create my own comic book 3) would love to work somewhere as a concept artist preferably for video games or rpgs 4) continue with freelance illustration.
I love drawing portraits and experimenting with new media. I've also done some designs for band tshirts, cd covers, gig posters etc.
Essentially my goals are just to get rid of my debt and make enough to live off of without having to go back to a 9-5 job unless it is in the creative field (isn't that always the dream?)

It is the dream and it will be the reality. Things take time is all, but if we are committed and suround ourselves with like-minded associates, our success with be that much smoother.
I to would like to make just enough to be able to do it full time with no other employment needed. I'm close, but not there yet. Still the goal is modest and well focused making it both reasonable and attainable.
You can talk to me about anything you like and I'll do my best to share what I've learned. Perhaps it will help you. Whether thats on here or at the show this summer.
