ISABEL ISABEL ISABEL.
Where have you been? It's lonely on dA now.

I'm sorry!
I've been literally drowning in so much work I can't even contemplate going on dA but the obscene numbers in deviantAnywhere made me come check my messages. And now I'm even more daunted and can't possible make enough time to look at them all until the summer.
Really now. Is it college yet?!
The sad part is - much of this is my own damn fault. I just overestimate my ability to make time.

Don't despair. Good God, I know the feeling well enough. My life has been...work. And work, and work, and work, but somehow I keep viciously procrastinating enough to a) keep me miserably overwhelmed and b) give myself time to be not-overwhelmed. The end result is a mounting pile of work...like that Calc hw that's due tomorrow...um...but I stay semi-sane. Kind of.
I'm praying for a snowstorm. We're supposedly getting three to six inches tonight, and I only need a half an inch for a day off. PLEASE DEAR GOD.
I have to submit my schedule requests for next year by the end of the week. I might be taking three APs, maybe not, but either way, I'm going to be so dead.
Time can always be found. It's a fact. Usually, you can find it by turning the seams of your pockets inside-out. I've missed you. But do stay alive.

I suppose it's junior year thing. Viciously procrastinating will have to wait until after exams though ... D:
At least it's calc and not chem. Or you could just *not* do chem. Could you come do *my* math hw too? Or just take my whole math exam? Because it's really stressing me out.
WE GOT A SNOWSTORM TOO!!! First snow day in five or six years. I was basically crying with joy. Beautiful.
Ooh we had to submit schedule requests too! Anything fun? 3 APs ahhh, sometimes I love how we don't have APs. I might be taking some APs this year though. Should decide fast ...
I'll carefully turn my pockets out! I've missed you too I'm trying, I'm trying! Exams end next Tuesday so by then I'll be happy God.

Lolololol sure I'll do your math! If you can dump the AP US book into my brainssssss! (Or figure out how to get Hippocampus vids onto my iPod. Either-or. I'm not so picky.)
But SNOW SNOW SNOW YESSSS! Two days. Two freaking days, and a delay today. I heard about you lot on the news! Half a decade, they said. Crazy stuff. Did you go sledding or anything?
Nothing much. AP Comp Sci, which should actually be exciting AND fairly easy (my friend claims that he sleeps in that class). AP Chem, which should be painful/boring. Spanish III. Brit Lit (barf!). One band class, maybe. And Physics. Physics should be fun just 'cuz it's Stearnsy--he's a really funny guy. Think of Will, but much more sarcastic and dry. I'll know some of the stuff already (hahaha), so it should be too bad.

I'll do my best ... though I'm sure it's a little late, bwahahaha. I could try with the Hippocampus XD
SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! We just had the one snow day on Monday, but that was a miracle in and of itself since it's been so long ... but everyone in my grade spent the snow day studying!! And being bitter all over fbook as photo albums of people having fun came up. Grumble grumble. Still, it was pretty glorious.
AP CHEM painful yes, but I'm jealous D: Whassamatter with Brit Lit?
As for me ... I'M DROPPING SPANISH I can't handle our shoddy curriculum anymore and can't fit it into the schedule anyway so I'm not fighting for a six-class waiver. Goodbye Spanish VI or whatever they call it ...
then calc, stats, adv. physics, various english electives, history in the fall, astronomy in the winter ... art art art ... life, it is good!

Wahahaha. Poor kids and studying on snow days. BUT IT HAPPENED.
Whassamatter with Brit Lit? Ello? ENGLISH CLASS. It's the only mandatory class I'll be taking next year = brimming with pot heads and general idiots. When you've got kids reading at middle-school level, every book becomes audio recording/comic book/outlinesnotesoutlinesPASSTHETEST.
Grumblegrumble. It'll be fine, I'm sure. I just need to sit as far back in the class as possible. As long as my current teacher doesn't move up AGAIN, I'll be fine, I think.
You have to take so, so many classes. I'm sorry. That just seems painful. I have to pick between symphonic (spring) and marching (fall) band for next year, and I'm really torn. Eugh. Marching is so much work, but I love it...
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
empirexstate In reply to cairnthecrow [2009-06-13 19:53:22 +0000 UTC]
OHHHH yes the pot heads. How could I forget? I feel ashamed. It's sad because English should be awesome, but instead you are far too awesome for your English class.s
grumbleeeeee
Aww, it's not so bad (although, as of last week I dropped stats to take linear algebra instead - I'm just that good at doing things last minute!). I kinda love all the classes. Nerd X)
Ahhh ... I guess you've chosen at this point between marching and symphonic? I wouldn't have had any good advice anyhow. How'd that go?

cairnthecrow In reply to empirexstate [2009-06-26 02:51:32 +0000 UTC]
Hahaha.
Look who's late now!
I'm just plain evil. But anyway.
YAYYYYY IT'S ISABEL.
Haha...your school seems to do math in a silly manner. (I.e., choices? What's this nonsense?) And your nerdom makes you awesome. Speakin of which...CTY IS IN THREE DAYS OMG. Sorry!
Anyway, I picked symphonic. I need an easy class during the spring for APs, and I don't think I'm up to doing alllll of the football games AND parades AND the Hurlock parade (which is in a class of its own...tiny tiny tiny town w/ a 200-unit parade that goes for at least four hours. Oy vey.)
