I'm on whenever I'm at home unless someone's over. Well, usually. Home and awake = on unless bf or friends are here.

Pretty busy! I'm not very active nowadays on devART, mostly tumblr here and now. I haven't drawn in a while mostly because I've been trying to concentrate on other stuff (such as music studies, academics, etc), but I've been taking an art class this semester and it's inspired me to get back into drawing again, so we'll see how that goes

Awesome. My tumblr is pretty much dead to the world. Which actually reminds me I need to update my Wordpress.
I started drawing more after watching an artist I admire on Livestream.

DUUUUUDE I KNOW! I've been so busy with school stuff lately it's kinda ridiculous at times. When people said junior year was the hardest year THEY LIED TO ME. I'm just glad it's kinda getting less hectic as it draws closer to my graduation...
And yes, we mos def need to talk again! How have you been with college and stuff?

OH MY GOD who told you that LIE. High School is like the hardest time ever in history EVER. When you graduate you'll get this weight lifted off your shoulders only to figure out that weight is actually just your backpack and you still have an irritating life waiting for you out of school, its either more school or look for a job that DOESNT EXIST. FUN.
But yeah, college is a-okay with me right now, just taking the art class I didnt enroll entirely, my plan is to have like 3 semesters of art classes to build up a nice portfolio AND build up little bits of credit as well. Hopefully around those times I'll get a job....HOPEFULLY. But yeah as of now its art class and sitting on my ass.

I have you agree with you that high school is EXTREMELY annoying. Even most of my teachers agree that they hated high school/liked college a lot more than high school. Though I'm not exactly looking forward to paying that tuition when I get into college... >_>
That sounds pretty cool, and at least you're doing something that you enjoy. I've had friends who were all like "I'm going to be [insert job in the medical profession here], but I feel like they're just doing it because their parents told them to do it or something like that.

Its cause in high school people are annoying and douchebags, but in college its like, OH MAN, its like so much more quiet, less people (depending where you go), everyone is nicer (again depends where you go) and plus its just feel so much more laid back and judgmental. I guess that the best way I can describe it.
Yeah but maybe they were so convinced that now they actually /do/ want a job in the medical profession, we'll never know. THAT OR THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO LOOK BETTER THAN US, jerk.

Oh man, college sounds so appealing already *_* But that's good that college is less judgemental and laid back. Everyone here at our school, even though we're a magnet school and theoretically should know how to act, seems to judge too much or cause drama.
I KNOW, RIGHT. Showoff jerks sometimes >( Btw, were you thinking about transferring to an art college after doing two years of art stuff over here?

ITS HIGH SCHOOL ITS LIKE REQUIRED, like you know all those high school teen movies? Well they have one thing right, no matter what everyone in High School is judgmental, like even I was at one point, but not like OVER THE TOP kinda thing but it was like "what an idiot" or "man she must be a bitch" stuff like that, but I actually talked to a girl I thought was a bitch and she was just so nice to me, I actually drew her a picture and she loved it. And I guess thats why college people are better because they just figure like they'll just stick with their friends and keep their mouths shut and be nice every so often.
Maybe Maybe, I havent had it all figured out yet, because I dont even know if I want to stay here or go out of town because I know schools here kinda suck, especially the AI.

emsy-ree In reply to GirXdolly [2011-03-27 08:12:46 +0000 UTC]
I guess that kinda makes sense, since a lot of people just want to start over after high school, though I'll admit it sounds like it's hardest to trust others in colleges, especially when you don't see and interact with your classmates on a daily basis.?
I see. Yeah, I know how you feel. We have really bad education system, and we don't even have that many colleges to choose from compared to other states but sometimes we just don't have the money to go out of state or anywhere else. SIGH. Even Montana has more schools to choose from than us.
On a side now, how have art classes at CSN been? Learning a lot lately?

Because Vegas sucks and other towns are amazing, now I know why everyone wants to move to California, despite the fact Cali has terrible drivers.
Yeah my art teacher is a great guy and an awesome teacher, I had to start in Drawing 1 so its stuff I already know, but I'm still learning, like hes critiquing my work and telling/showing me what and how I should fix things. So yeah, life is good.
