Cheers for the fav too.. I love this camera! The standard lense for the 400D is great for a while but then i just wasnt happy with the results, so I have to buy new, better lense. i'm thinking of getting 70-300mm lense, just wondered if you'd recommend it?

Yeah, thats why I didnt buy the camera with the a lens, knew i'd need a new one, i've got a Sigma 18-50mm coming next week, and the 70-300mm is also a Sigma.

I pretty new to photography so dont know waht the best lenses are but this one for me is great, does everything what i need, gives me the focal range and it doubles up as a macro lens between certain focal distances but as its the only lens i've got at the moment, it difficult to really use the camera in most situations.

If your considering the Sigma 70-300, i take some shots for you if you like, send them you at full-res etc.. so you can check them out.
