The execution and the making isn't as hard, it's having the creative mind to come up with an idea that's difficult. Once you've got an idea of what you want to do (the message you want to give for example) you can work from there.
It's difficult to begin with, I've had practice

It seems very hard to do it, you make all your text art look so amazing, it looks like it takes you hours to complete, how long does it usually take? What was your first typography? (if that's how you would word it xD)

It don't actually spend that much time, compared to other designers anyway, after I have an idea roughly around an hour or two, with lots and lots of breaks - I like to eat when designing, i'm not sure why, but it helps

CS5 is the newest, but I prefer to use CS3 because I'm so used to it by now
