Hi there,
I have enjoyed taking a stroll through your gallery, your have good works there! your technique is good and will improve to a high level by exercise soon. The shading, light dark contrast...all you need is there...
you are working a bit 'too much from your head' and training will bring you to work from your ...it is an insecureness that is with all of us and will grow into confidence soon.
What could help you is to check your setup beofre you really start drawing. When making the basic sketch / lines: what do you do? do you use grid lines or work from scratch? I see that in some drawings your positions of eyes/nose/mouth are slightly out of line. You can train this as follows:
1) print the reference picture you want to draw to the size of the drawing
2) do your setup as you like, using gridlines or whatever
3) when you are ready CHECK AND CORRECT IF NECESSARY by putting the picture behind the drawing and hold it against the light (window).
4) if your positions are in the right place you will have much more fun with the rest of the work!
It is a training of the eye and this correction will help you to see where you tend to go wrong, it will result in an automatic adjustment of your view where you will not need this check anymore.
You will find you will experience even more joy in drawing when the likeness to the reference is tops
Hope this will help you

You are absolutely right, I am aware That My drawings are not made ββcorettamente made... Sometimes the poporzioni are not PRECISELY or linear.
I never utilizato the grid, I have always Worked to eye, but I believe That to learn better and try to be more 'accurate I have to start using some method That allows me to make work more' correct...
I also have a problem with hair, I can not get a realistic effects, always find an enormous difficulties' Anyways I'll try 'to train more' and follow His advice! I thank you and good day ^.^

Hi there,
Thanks for the repsonse.
As to the hair, that has allways been my biggest bottleneck as well...
I now first make a patchwork of lighter and darker greys, then work on it with an (electric) eraser (Derwent has a very cheap one on batteries that does a great job. It costs around 9 euros!)
You can see the effect when comparing two works in my gallery:
"Don't Fade" shows the grey patchwork. Afterwards I worked on it with the erasers, darkening some parts again layer over layer till I got the effect in "Angel from India".
Good Luck and
Keep Sharing

Hello , I have heard of this rubber electric , it seems useful to get the light effects for the hair but also for the face is not it?
However, his advice is always helpful thank you so much!!

Take your time and just slowly get the hang of it- people for the most part are understanding if you mention English is a second language. If you do meet jerks that say stupid things just ignore them.
