my language is half latine and i also speak italian and french, so using some dictionaries i can also try other latine languages : )
but you also wrote in romanian
at first when i saw your name 'Marcello' i wanted to say welcome in italian , because it's an italian name, but to make sure i looked into your comments and i saw you are a peruvian, gosh, this sounds stalkerish :/, but when i saw that you tried to write in my language, i also wanted to welcome you in your language as a gratitude

beautiful gallery i love your style. Can i ask what you use to create your work the lines are so thin and work so well
π: 0 β©: 1
fUaFuAD In reply to sallyftnbc [2010-12-31 15:28:02 +0000 UTC]
why thank you for your appreciation : )
i think the lines look thin because i work on large sizes of paper..and so the ballpoint and crayons that i use become thiner and thiner
but it's a little bit difficult when i have to make long lines, if the size of the paper is big
and if you want to know, the sizes of paper i'm working with are A3 mostly and sometimes A2

do you scan your pieces in a big scanner then, the uploaded quality is great
π: 0 β©: 1
fUaFuAD In reply to sallyftnbc [2011-01-02 22:03:16 +0000 UTC]
yes..i go in town..there's a place where the have a big scanner...but it's pretty expensive..probably the main reason why i don't have so many deviations...this time a got to scan many of my drawings as a present from my mom : )
but i think the quality it's not that good...the scanner erases the lines

sallyftnbc In reply to fUaFuAD [2011-01-02 22:09:13 +0000 UTC]
well its better then taking photos which i've been doing a lot, i know theres a large scanner in my college in graphics but it's jsut a matter of sneaking in to scan
π: 0 β©: 1
fUaFuAD In reply to sallyftnbc [2011-01-02 22:17:28 +0000 UTC]
the camera is good also, but only if it's a good one, my camera doesn't have a good resolution, so i prefere to scan them...
so why do you have to sneak...it's not allowed? i hate it when schools, colleges etc do that cheap stuff..restraing the students from doing their work...they should give support if they have the power to do that
π: 0 β©: 1
sallyftnbc In reply to fUaFuAD [2011-01-02 22:21:12 +0000 UTC]
we just have a strict graphics teacher really i think he wouldn't mind the scanning only if its in particular time of the day for example at lunch if the particular computer is free, and to be honest i'm too lazy to bring my larger work and sit there for an hour scanning for deviant art lol. i'm certain that the art teacher knows i keep taking paper but he's cool with it he watches me take rolls home and never actually sees me use them in the art work

haha...he sits there..shouldn't he be more mad because he doesn't see you using them even though you take them?

haha...he sounds like a good person
i have to ask you something if you don't mind...i understand that you are an art student..i saw that you are from uk...i have plans on going there and study, how is it?
i'm still in reseparΔ..don't know much of the colleges out there, i mean i'm planning to study abroad, the reason why i want uk is because i have someone there and also i'm better with english than italian or french, but i think on studying them better, cuz i'm not sure what i really want ...haha i'm an undecided person

yeah he really is...
well at the moment i am just in college but have recently applied to some art universities and something that i know for 100% the bets ones shall be the universities of arts london [link] since your from another country you should look at the qualifications needed to get into the courses for example right now i'm going my A levels and shall have to take a foundation art year before i go into things like illustration, for you it may be different. Obviously everything is very pricey since it's London but personally it has been my dream to study art there and i really truly recommend it. Other london art universities offer art suck as London Metropolitan i think and Kingston. Looking away form london but in the are there is meant to be a good art universities in Kent sand Brighton and the Essex university in South-end is now part of the Universities arts London in some way and have been told they have good art courses there too
I think that if you want to study art abroad its best to come here for university
haha i hope thats enough information there

thanks a lot for the information...personally i knew about University of the Arts London...i had central saint martins in mind a while ago, because i was thinking to study fashion design, but i got it out of my mind because it's too expensive, and it needs a strong mind, i'm not strong enough for it, anyway, thanks again, i appreciate : )
