I have a friend in the same sort of situation. It was self-abuse, though, so a bit different probably. I hope your friend can get out of it. It's very hard seeing that happen to someone you care about... sorry to hear. I'm doing the same for pretty much that reason. Hope you have better luck than I'm having helping your friend.
