I'll giev you some more when I have some free time, pretty clogged up atm with exams.
The Llamas work by scrolling all the way up to the top and clicking "give". The icon is next to the "note" and "+deviantwatch" icons.

Hey, I see youre pretty new
Although I use Gimp I'm pretty similar to you, I learnt pretty much everything I now know about it via tuts like you have.
I made a few notes from your works, its up to you whether you take my advice on board, but I'm trying to help ya

1. Many of your works try to put too much into too small a space.
2. Your text is okay, (better than mine) but its too dominating. Make it smaller and move it to the side out of the way, other wise the focal point is no longer the render but instead the text. - I doubt you want that as you actually put the render in.

I have more, but unless you ask, I wont bother posting it as you may just ignore me all together
