No problem! I love your pieces and might be slightly (completely) jealous of the color and life (and beautiful lines and shapes) you really bring to everything you draw.

You're welcome! Ok this is going to seem kind of random, but I have a question... If you use photoshop to color, how did you color it? By that I mean, do you remove the background from the original image? If you don't, how did you create the layered effect? I'm hoping this is making sense. I've been trying to figure out how to use photoshop without redrawing the line art within the program (I don't have a tablet so it would be difficult to do so).

sacha11410 In reply to feystarlight [2010-03-09 03:35:13 +0000 UTC]

I get what you mean, I do all my coloring with a laptop mousepad! lol
1. Have two layers at the beginning, one that has your lineart on it (with the white background) and create one that just is the color white
2. Select the lineart and go to the layer effects drop-down box (to the left of opacity) and select "multiplicity". This will make any colors you put on layers behind it show through the white (you can mess with the darkness of the lineart by typing ctrl+l or ctrl+m).
3. Make a new layer for each thing you color and label them things like "pants" or "hair," but make sure the lineart set on multiplicity stays the top layer.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Well it depends what the request is. Somethings I know I can't draw well. It would take me sometime to get around to it (I'm crazy business right now) but I would love to hear what you had in mind.

Well I am part of an online writing site, and am currently writing stories about the movie Newsies. So I was just looking for someone who could draw a picture of a female newsie or something along those lines.
