Hey! Yeah, it's been forever, hasn't it? I'm okay, could be better. Trying to get back the inspiration for writing that I've kinda lost in the last little while. It's...an ongoing process. Other than that, I'm not too bad.

I've been going through stuff of my own. Doing a final edit on Guardian's Host, working on videos for Youtube, and having some problems with DPSS. The later being the biggest issue.

Yeah, but I'm really nervous when doing the videos.
DPSS never got my renewal package and sent me two letters saying I didn't show up for my phone interview. But they never called me because they didn't get my packages. I went there three times and today I finally just completely reapplied. Hopefully that sorts out everything.

That sounds really freaking annoying, honestly. I highly doubt that it was your fault, anyway. It can't be blamed on you that they never got your packages. Hopefully they understand that. And hopefully those videos work out for you. I'm sure they will! Just try not to be too nervous. Being a little nervous is natural, though, so don't worry that you are. You'll knock it out of the park, you'll see!

Well it must be difficult to find time with all the things you're doing lately! Maybe there's ways you can do it later, in other places when you're not busy. Like, writing a little bit of it when you're cooking or cleaning or a sentence or two before bed?

Ohhh man, you and me both. That never-ending parade of hardships, it seems. Is it family troubles? Job? Life in general?

Not too bad, considering. Stressed. There's a lot happening in my life right now. Romantically, work-wise, moving away and all the stress that brings, and my dad had a stroke two days ago. He's on a drug that will either save him or kill him and we'll find out which in a few days. But he's improving quickly so we're all holding out hope for the best.

He's doing much better since I last saw him. I spoke to my mother and he's coherent and he can walk on his own, but with the aid of a walker, and his mobility is almost completely regained. We're certainly feeling very relieved. Still worried, but it's better.
