Yeah, when I started 3D modeling, I REALLY had trouble with it. So I decided that I would keep trying bump mapping until I got it right.

Yeah. Well bump mapping is actually extremely useful. If something doesnt need to be modeled, why model it if it will look the same bump mapped, right? You save on poly count and rendering times

Iv'e been modeling off and on for just under 3 years. But I was never serious about it until I took a 3D modeling class.
