While I can work in lead came, all of my "production" pieces are in copper foil. It's faster to use and a lot less fiddly. The biggest tip is don't get frustrated and don't expect it to go right on your first (or 5th or 10th...) piece. Glass will break, glass will cut, solder will glob. It's the nature of the craft. Just keep plugging away at it until you work out what feels right and then everything will flow properly.
Other than that, read all you can on the subject. The internet has answers to any question you might have.

Just used a red lens, but it's strange you can still see her eyes. The mono pod is just a stick you fix your camera on to steady yourself using zoom.
I've been asked to do my uncles wedding this week, luck only 4 people are going, still a bit of pressure it's still a wedding. will let you know how it goes

you just use them to balance and steady yourself to reduce the shake when taking a pic with high zoom. You don't let go of the camera at all.
Went to the city hall yesterday to scope out the place and blagged my way into the room so at least I know what I'm up against.
Took some shots with the new lens of the city hall to fill out the album for them so I will put a few up for you.[link]

yea, nice work good spot mate. Just got a new lens 55-250mm for some zoom action but is cool for portraits to. Also picked up a tripod and mono pod for £20 on ebay if you ever need to use them.
