Müssen sich Piloten entscheiden, zu welcher Fluggesellschaft gehören wollen oder nicht?

Naja, sie machen die Ausbildung bei einer Fluggesellschaft und in der Regel behält diese die ausgebildeten Piloten auch, zumindest so lange, bis sie ihre Ausbildung zurückgezahlt haben. Danach können sie zu einer anderen Gesellschaft wechseln. Dann fliegen sie eben für diese Gesellschaft.

Allerdings gibts auch "freie Piloten", die Aufträge jeglicher Art entgegen nehmen, aber das sind dann eher sogenannte "Buschpiloten", z. B. in Afrika, Australien, USA, ect, aber nicht im Linienverkehr mit den ganz großen Maschinen.
Diese Buschpiloten haben dann in der Regel auch eigene (private) Maschinen.
