I'm not surprised about the difficulties you encountered looking for Professor Martin's book. It is actually a rather old one [at least 30 yrs]. I think it may only be available in libraries. The prize for the quest is an extensive overlook on the movement and a lot of illustrations. And, sadly enough, it is not a really outdated work either...
As about the work of single Futurists... As soon as I get home tonight [21:00 CET] I'll have a look at my bookmarks. I think I may have some links I can send you... If you just can't wait, you may want to google pictures by Depero [he is actually from the late, or 'second' futurism], CarrΓ , Boccioni, Severini, Russolo, Soffici... They all have show great variations in their own work, but at a certain point they all have dealed with this theory of 'the spectator in the center' and of the 'moving the subject about'. Questions that really require a whole book to describe accurately...

I loved my recent trip to Italy. It was actually a driving trip down from Munich and my first visit there. In many ways it was exactly how I imagined it, only friendlier, if that is possible. And actually cleaner - I had heard Venice to be quite filthy, but maybe that is only during the peak tourist season.
