Snowy's life was short but well lived.
He took risks and lived on the edge. He truly was a great snowman.
His life began, only a short hour before it ended, upon the snowy landscape of the Western Tiers.
He grew and evolved from a single flake, into a mound and then into the well rounded figure we all came to love so dearly.
His last journey was taken upon the bonnet of a great red vehicle down the slopes of the mountain.
He defeated treacherous hair-pin turn after turn. Never once did he let out a scream of fear. His carrot nose still intact, he hurtled down the tarmac road with dare-devil speed.
It all ended with one last act of bravery as he leapt from the front of the car, taking with him his only chance of ever having a normal life.
White blood spilled across the road within seconds of impact, his head sent flying the opposite way to what was left of his body. When we turned back to rescue him, it was apparent that there was nothing that could be done for our brave little snowman.
I know he had to live his entire life with a family of crazed Rangers', but that's not enough to encourage someone as loving as Snowy to throw away their life?
Is it?
Maybe, if he had said something, anything at all, we could have found help for him. Instead, he took his own life, without a sound.
But our love for him will always go on, we shall never forget our beloved Snowy.
Rest in peace, my cold hearted brother...
