Oh crap, did I reply to the wrong person? I meant to respond to ~forte805 's comment. It was about the whole !Silent-Danny fiasco on *sandara 's "Blank" deviation. (Forte was the one clapping sarcastically at all of Danny's rage-filled comments and I went under-cover as ~Fuadplz and trolled along side him. ^_^)

Nope no welding for me... not yet anyways.
Everything on Steampunk Abe and my costumes is generally held together with nuts, bolts and rivets.
With this steampunk stuff I have been experimenting with faux-welding ... as in taking materials like sculptey clay, and hot glue, then using a pencil to press welding beads/marks into the soft material before it hardens. Took me a while to figure out the technique, but it looks fabulous once painted.
