Thank-you I'm glad you've enjoyed your stay I just perused some of your stuff and love some of your low light work. And your sunset petles were great as well, nice perspective. Thanks for watching me. If you are interested you could also check out [link] Most of my tree-planting pics are up there and some other people have posted as well.

Happy New Year !!!
Thanks Dave, I'm glad you've enjoyed your browse (I didn't see your post here til this week... it doesn't seem to give you a notice...)
Ya I've been checkin in on your site from time to time βlove the water droplet stuff you've been doing. Stunning shots really, not just the droplets but the colour and composition are great too.
Recordings? You mean audio? Wow, I'd love to check em out! (that was a good tune
Things' good out this way... a little cold lately though. It was -53 C with the wind when I walked to school the other day... I've taken to waring my ski-goggles But ya just started taking a couple classes and doing some photography with the Univ. news paper... keepin busy.
How bout you Dave, what's up out west??
Take care of your self,

Casey,
Things are great out west... although we didn't have any -53 C weather we had a bout with -35-40 for a bit but things have warmed up nicely.. a bit of a chinook almost.. looking at +4 for saturday so am going to take the opportunity to get out and take some pictures. The cold has really discouraged my from taking pics outside.
I've edited the poetry night recordings I made but have yet to start on that dry tent stuff I promised... hopefully this weekend. I'll email it to you when I get it done. Jesse's band is playing tomorrow night at on of the campus bars so am going to check that out... other than that just keeping busy with school and what not. But yah.. you shall be hearing from me again soon.. until then keep the awesome pics coming and stay warm over there... maybe this warm spell we are having will float your way..
Dave.

Ya its hard to get yourself motivated to go out there when its that cold.... really hard on the hands. I've done a couple shoots with the river. Trying to capture the steam that comes off when its that cold... not pleasant business.
I'd love to hear that when you have it ready, and poetry night too!
Hey I'm actually heading out your way this weeknd.... there's some US farm team league teams playin? Anyways the collage of nursing put this deal together where its like $115.00 for the bus ride, 2 nights in a hotel and the game how could I resist βnevermind that its the collage of nursing
... there's also some kind of University photojournalism conference I was going to try to sneak into.... but between the game, my photoproject/article for the sheaf, chasin tail and the hang-over I'll undoubtedly be sporting on Saturday things are lookin pretty full . Maybe I'll see ya in town.... you a hockey fan??

I know, we all have to take some french in school but it's a total joke!!! I can ask how are you.... and tell you my name but that's about it Unless you go to a special french emersion school you will learn nothing.
I'm very jealous of european's in that respect. Most know at least two languages if not more.... not just european's I suppose, most places.

marguerite In reply to freewheelin [2004-10-09 18:27:23 +0000 UTC]
french must be hard too learn. i think that the most languages you speak, its only better for you. but its almost nessesary for everybody to be able to speak at least english now.
π: 0 β©: 1
freewheelin In reply to marguerite [2004-10-14 17:52:38 +0000 UTC]
Ya, I think any language is hard to learn especially if you've only known one..... and ya I think it's like music, it's a part of your brain that really should be used, expanded.... excersised. But sadly you are right English is taking over. Dealing with different language is becomming a thorn in the side of the capitalist efficiency machine Hopefully countries will become aware of this and take precausion not to lose their language.

marguerite In reply to freewheelin [2004-10-17 22:44:27 +0000 UTC]
i dont think it is dangerous for any country to loose their language. only for example in countries where there is 2 languages, when one of the language is taking more place, its dangerous for the other one to desapear

Casey, I really like the pose of the girl in your sunset beach photo . Is she a planter??? I liked how you were incorperating the text into her shape.
Dark night bright light is a lamp, you know one of those old brass bank teller style lamps with the green shades, its one of those.
I look forward to seeing more of your work on here man
Jesse
