Yeah things went great, but the images didn't come out so well. The lighting was terrible, so we are going to set it all up again, and try to take new images for you. Do you want a copy of the powerpoint? It wasn't anything really special, but it has your images in it.

Actually, you just get the parts - then build your own robots Some people do clocks, others do automatic toilet flushers; and still others make robots that solve rubix cubes.

I've been watching you (just not talking much); looks like you're making good progress on Kings Anointed

I've been putting in about 45 hours a week at work though; plus trying to plan my finances enough to buy a house and get married before the end of the year; and looking for a new job (I graduated in December).

I'm sorta trying to get out of that lurker-mode; just haven't had much time to really stick around between all the other stuff. Once things settle down I should come back in full strength



For the competition, I've already started some coloring for the background. Assuming I can stick to it, it should be more polished than anything I've done before; including the stuff I don't post here .

It's my understanding that it's still "yours" - they won't claim to have made it. Just something like "Hey, people using our products make stuff like this:" or "This was one entry to the competition".
Official Rules - Particularly 1C and 1E.

"(iii) during the Promotion Period, and for a period of one year thereafter, eligible Works may be posted at the Contest Site or otherwise displayed in selections made by Sponsor and in any form and media on or off the deviantART site in connection with promotion of the Contest and/or Sponsor's products;
(iv) during the ten (10) year period immediately following the Promotion Period (the "Display Period"), the Sponsors may (but will not be obligated to) display prize winning Works in any form and media in connection with the promotion of their respective businesses;
(v) the Sponsors may otherwise use prize winning Works in such manner and upon such terms and conditions as the relevant entrant may approve in writing (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld, delayed or conditioned);"

Once the SDK is out (enough that I don't need to go modifying configuration files >,> I'm going to make a couple maps to make it easier to get Zombie Genocidist. 4 players, 4 miniguns, 2 pistols (per person), and 4 molotovs; with non-stop Panic events and two (wide) approach halls for the zombies.
So you'll have one player mowing down zombies while the other lets their minigun cool off. With less than 4 players you'll have to rely on the bots use of double pistols to save you .

30 zombies per wave, and say 1 minute from the start of one wave to the start of the next => ~30 hours.
For me it would be about 11 hours, 20k left to go.

The 30 is a preset number, the game only renders 30 zombies at once. It might refresh the ones running in as you kill some though; which could cut the time in half or less.
