Well, lots of crap happened last night and I've got to say, I really ****ed up. Thought Inspiration has struck again, this time in a free verse rhyme infusion, entitled Lost.

Well, I'm horny, pissed, and feeling kinda down. Just like my internet connection. I'm pirating my neighbors to write this. Yes my internet is down and its got me pissed. I'm kinda down cause my sisters relationship went to hell. And i've got the typical male horniness, woe is me right? Wrong. Normally this would all make me depressed but none of these are real problems. Inconvieinces sure, but nothing to cry over.
A simple thought.
Life is Worth living, only if you have something to live for. That phrase has been the bane of my very existence since I was old enough to understand it. I dwelled constantly on trying to find some purpose, some divine meaning for being. Through religion I found lies, hatred and contempt. I sought refuge in scholarly studies. The sciences and math, worlds that can't lie, they can only provide absolute truths. But I was left with a void. Now there was no poignant reason, math can explain the universe but it can't tell me who I am.
With no where else to turn I looked at myself. Saw what a mess I had made my life out to be. Saw how disposed I was making everything, how seemingly selfish I came off.
I changed my outlook on life. I no longer seek to please myself. I simply take what lifes going to throw at me. My whole life I wasn't saeeking a purpose, I had one, to live. I was seeking control. Control for which only, for some, god has. An impossible level of control that I could not obtain. So i'm relinquishing my quest and letting life run its course. Sure, its been a lot more boring. But its been a lot less stressful.
I use to take a lot for granted in life. The way everything just sort of happened. But now looking back i can truly see how naive I was.

Well heres me just a few months ago. I wrote this as a quintet of haikus.
Despair.
My life inverted,
Darkness stifling my only light.
Quavering heart screams.
Blessed be redeemed
Shallow grievances forgived
Dark crushes my light.
Resonating Soul
Vibrations in tune with you.
Wretched life, wasted.
I sit, and I weep.
My soul, only mine to keep.
Waiting for despair.
Dreading tomorrow
I hide, myself secluded
Despair, soaked deeply.
Thankfully though as of late my life has taken an even more chaotic twist and is actually running good for a change. Sure my social life is diminishing, but i'm alive, have a job, and i'm attending college. I'll try and write a more happy poem later.
