Tell me, how's that day work out for you on updates? I'm starting to update my comic again, but I'm not sure which day of the week it should be... I was thinking the end of the week, so I have the whole week to spend on it, and then I don't have to worry that I won't finish my work for the next day, but mondays could work out too, seeing as how I'd be working on the page over the weekend...

ah, well my method is this, its kinda of a 2 week process i'll take a week to sketch the comic page thats monday to sunday and i'll start panelling on the following monday and slowly completely that page till the friday ready for updates! but of course while i'm inking and colouring one page in i'm also sketching the next one so i end up juggling the two! sorry if that sounded complicated

i WAS updating tuesdays and fridays at one point but it nearly killed me!

i like frisdays, because if you think about this way, office folks and school kids who are on a PC on a friday wont want to work on a friday afternoon, they'll browse the internet, finding new things or getting up to date on they favorite subjects. so i'm guessing internet traffic is alot higher on fridays than any other weekdays. as for weekends, most people are out and about so they're less likely to be online except for the evening but i bet they'll be playing wow or another mmo!!

That makes a lot of sense actually.

Only it only takes me like... a couple hours to sketch out nine pages. I used to just upload when I finished a page (which was only the lineart and no color...) and that started during my summer break and I ended up cranking out about 60 pages in two weeks. I realized I couldn't keep that pace up so now I'm trying to find something that'll work for when I go back to school.

And that does make sense about uploading on fridays, very smart!

hehe yeah, i draw alot too! its also my job since i'm an illustrator, so i've have a more relaxed pace to my work, that way you dont burn out and you know for sure you can make deadline EVEN if life throws you a curve ball!

haha! enjoy those years! i had a riot! of course that more to do with sharing a house with graphic designers, illustrators and animators. nothing was normal in that house. but my advise toyou would be .. glue your pencil to your hand! dont stop drawing, practise makes perfection!

lol, thanks. Though I doubt I'll be making friends with many artists/art majors. The school I go to isn't an art school, so most of my roommates are elem. eds, communications, psychology and writing majors. I hope that changes...
