i dont hate it, umm i had a really hard time last year, diagnosed with clinical depression, this year is hard because im trying to overcome it, but so many things have happened that i dunno, its just difficult. but i dont hate it. its a learning experience for the next life or after life or whatever comes after this life.

Yeah, you basically had it. Just a life out of the ordinary, where shootings and muggings take place, and then they bury the bodies under bridges.
Raspberries, and the line, is like that because raspberries don't hold a significant value to the piece - it's just suppose to represent something that was once enjoyable and memorable has no turned grotesque. If that makes sense.

just a hint. they will never understand how you can't help but stick out. they will never go away and you will feel so lost forever. they are dull and lacking passion, only dabbling here and there in the shallow pool.. the very edge of thier soul.
randomly we fell into ourselves and can't let go of the bottom where we drown out the broadcasted lemmingness of those around us who keep coming up for air

You see, my perception of winter was thrown in with this piece. I perceive winter to be something enchanting and memorable; something that isn't even describable. I think winter is what I portrayed the character in the poem to believe (everything he thought, even though I didn't elaborate that much, is what I think of winter; so when you read about "him", it's me) - I took you into my head, and showed you what I thought would be known as winter; a beautiful, enchanting kiss from nature. Or, in other words, the snow.
The feather, well that's another example of winter - it represents snow, as well.
That's what I tried to do with the piece. Thanks for your comment, I'm pleased I at least accomplished the romantic portion of the poem.
