I'm kind of ridiculously slow at finishing pictures and rather shy when it comes to sharing them too, but I'll try.

But I'm a lousy teacher! Haha.

I've found that a lot of it is trial and error. Tutorials are good to get a general idea of what to do with layers and stuff, but for the most part, I just learned by trying different things until I got a technique that gave me a result I liked.
