If I may, I suggest you stay away from stupid hybrids UNLESS you can make them cool-
(HedgeFox with 10 tails ...that sounds kinda unoriginal,right?)
(Some kind of animal thats FASTER then sonic,that can get kinda annoying,unless you can even it out someway or another)

I have some character sketches I plan on uploading soon,maybe they'll give you some ideas,But it's really hard to come up with an original character without it looking like a recolor XDD


Where you thinking of a hedgehog chara? or fox ? etc etc etc
Hedgehogs,foxes,cats,dogs,the most used and obvious,but any animal you can think of has been made into a sonic style OC.

I'd explore the internet for cool animals(or reptiles or bugs)

theres alot to take in mind when creating a character,especially a fan chara.


I myself like to keep to the basics Hedgehog characters are just to fun to draw
