i figured they were, after reading the description. i feel bad for the one on the right, being dead and all.

the other day i saw a dead bird in the road. another bird was sitting beside it. it made me wonder if it was mourning for its friend. i thought "how would i feel if my friend got smashed by a car?" it's sad, the way we dismiss animals as if they're unimportant sometimes.
