hey how are you and your camel doing?
Me and my neighbor and just startign to train our camel how to koosh... so far.. we've doen it once and after ten mins he finally laid down.
my neighbor also has a eigth year old female who does not knwo anything but lead. she is overweight too.. so as soon as we are doen with the baby we'll move to her.

Very good! He's getting very bid. I'd say he was around 5'9" at the hump now. He's also shedding out his baby hair and winter coat.
How's yours coming along cushing now? I taught Baby this when I very first got him. Trainers say to wait until they're older so they don't get "cush happy", but I haven't had any problem with that. He does it on vocal command alone on a good day.

Have you seen my cushing videos? They don't really explain it very well though, kind of just shows the end result.
I didn't do the method on the web site, I don't like it at all. I started picking up his leg at 30 days old, and then I tapped with a stick fairly hard, and I got lighter and lighter. Then I pointed at his leg with the stick, all the while saying "cush". Now I Just say "cush" and he goes down.
I don't know why Gobi doesn't ride either, I think remember him saying something about his jumps being too close together. But I can't even remember what the camel looks like right now.
I'm near Sunsites, Arizona. Southeastern sort of near the New Mexico border.
Please let me know if you have any questions on how to get him to cush on vocal command, I'm not sure if I explained it very well.
