Its still very possible. you ev points will still be applied when battling over wifi because they will be auto set to lv 50.

yups. If youre looking for people to battle just ask for a non competitive battle, most people will know what youre talking about and if they dont then they arent a competitive battler anyway so youre good lol.

My main team is Arcanine, lucario, starmie, salamence, electivire, and sceptile. I'll switch out with torterra, zoroark, luxray, gallade, and vaporeon on occasion.

Nope. Starmie is a good spinner but its not ou. vaporeon has amazing hp and is close to being ou, but still isnt. and Luxray doesnt have the same speed as other electric types so people rarely use him. He does have an incredibly high physical attack though and with the move wild charge with the guts dream world ability is really deadly.
