hahaha yeah I hate probably about the same amount as you Surprisingly enough though , I actually have all my drawings Like all the unfinished ones , all the random doodles and stuff . They're in my filing cabinet . . . yeahhh . . . the file is quite big . But I look at the difference between when I was like . . . 11 and now ? I'm a LOT better . I mean seriously ? You should have seen my attempt of a dingo once . . . it was unrecognisable .

hahaha When I was 11 I didn't even ATTEMPT people ! And I used to love to draw all the aussie animals when I was a kid cause I grew up there and I thought they were cool hehe

hahahha I'm not too bad with an eraser actually . I just go really slowly , and then get darker as we go so I don't have to erase , cause I kinda suck at erasing . Me erasing will destroy the point of erasing something in the first place

Oh! Cool! I think my problem is that I press to hard when i draw so it's too dark and it leaves a dent in the page! I draw pretty fast so that doesn't really help with trying to get proportions right, shading etc. If i start erasing, I pretty much don't have a picture left!

haha yeah . I draw really lightly So it takes a long time . Plus I'm a bit of a perfectionist , so i end up redoing stuff a bunch of times until its like good enough . . . i'll end up moving a line like half a mm or something
and my proportions are just generally wrong It takes me ages free hand , so i just cheat and use grid

Ha! No wonder your drawings are perfect! That explains a lot!!! I've never drawn using a grid before, but it must obivously work!!! I normally have to move my whole drawing around rather than just a line, so in the end it turns out to be a completly differnt picture

haha no no , i draw in bizzare ways too but the grid helps with proportion And it kinda makes it like colouring in Brings me back to those colouring book days but yeah . The only problem with grid is that you have to erase it afterwards . . . that would be a problem . Especially cause most of the time , I don't think about it until afterwards . So if i do hair . . . with all the individual strands . . . yeah . Its annoying to try and erase the grid without erasing those

Yeah, that does sound a bit annoying but it obviously works! Yeah, I miss those days myself! Now in Art classes at school, the teaher always has a go at people who colour in without shading or tone etc.

haha I gave up on art at school last year It got boring and too demanding and I started to hate it , so I figured I'd just keep it as a hobby . Only problem now is that I don't have as much time to draw
But colouring in is epic fun ! I bought a new Disney princess colouring book last week actually . (Yes . I'm that cool .) And its a form of art !

Man.... I wish I was as cool as you!!! Yeah, I really hate Art at school, but it is the only excuse to let us draw and do anything that is remotly artistic! I normally find that I don't really do very good stuff at school, cause it's all rushed to get it finished in time! I just hope that it'll get better next year....

I'm still doing some artistic-ish stuff at school , which is design and technology , but at my school they focus more on the graphic part , so theres a lot of designing and drawing and stuff . So I don't feel too bad about missing out on all the art stuff .

Oh ! Not to make my school seem super awesome , but out art department is pretty epic . Like , we got to paint a chair in year 10 and theres a fashion show at this mall every year where we have to make the outfits out of recycled materials . Pretty awesome . Of course , everyone ends up hating the fashion show because , you don't mind designing the outfit for a majority of the time , but no one actually wants to where the c*** you make

Haha!!! True! Expecially if it's made out of recycled materials! I remember one year when I was like in year 8, there was a couple of girls in the upper school who made dresses out of rubbish bags! They were pretty cool, but no one would model for them! I'm in year 10 and the best thing I think we've done all year is been able to paint a really big canvas!

Yeah, I'm not very good at painting but it'll help me improve! In senior school, I think we get to do more studio work like canvases and skulptures and stuff! I've painted a few canvases and half way through one now

Maybe! But I haven't really been painting much these last few months, so most of my work is rubbish! At the moment I'm trying to improve my skills on the computer (as you can see I'm failing at that right now!)

ahhh yessss . I'm okay on photoshop and editing and stuff like that (I got stuck one year at school for D&T where we were supposed to rotate and do all sorts of stuff like wood works and stuff , but the class i was in was the loser class and we got left out of the rotation and was stuck at computers the whole year . . . it sucked . But helped the photoshopping skills ) . But like drawing on the computer and stuff >< Haven't evolved that much as a human being

Haha! I didn't get to do woodwork! I got stuck in stupid metalwork and ended up getting a D! Like last year I did a computer animating course! It was cool becuase my teacher was so laid back we just went on the internet and played games all lesson! haha! It was cool though! I made an animation of my dogs, you could drag them and when you dropped them they would bounce back up off the ground! It was cool, but they don't that course in year 10! It sucks!

Awww haha . But that whole animation thing sounds awesome ! I never got to do animation We did like a website for our school . . . and our teacher said one of them would turn into the real website . HE LIED . Oh well , they weren't very good anyway And then we did like CD cases and I like , stuck britney spear's head on like Justin Timberlake's body or something like that
I worked with metal once in D&T . . . I remember that I hated it . it was so boring ! I like wood a lot better . But when it comes down to it . . . its all manual labour , so its all somewhat sucky because actual effort is required

Yeahhh I know right ? Why are programs like that so expensive !? Okayyy so people put lots of hard work into it , but they would make more money if it was cheaper . Cause my little brother loves doing all that animation stuff
And the school i go to now , their website . . . SUCKS . Like half the time it isn't even functional ! Like , fine if it just looks really hideous , but without the functionality . . . that just takes the cake for bad school websites

Sorry for that late reply! I want photoshop and flash but they are overly ecpensive! I don't care how much work the programers put into it! I just want the dam program! They are like more than $500 each!
Well, most school websites are bad anyway! It's not like many people go on mine anyway! All it has is the newsletter and cirriculum!

haha fair enough The only reason we have photoshop is cause my mum likes to use the photo organiser thingo on there I have no idea why . It bothers me so much
But yeah , and i try not to use my school email , and half the time i don't have anything in there , but there will just be one time , when i have like a super important email that i need to read with like , and assignment or something , and i won't check it . And then i'll be stuffed

We just use our hotmail accounts (see my school is so cheap!)
My parents or my sister pretty much have no intrest in this kind of stuff at all (which can sometimes be a good thing)! My sister gives me funny looks all the time of all the anime drawings I do!

haha yeah my big brother and dad are the same And my little brother is always drawing cartoons and anime and stuff , so when i use pictures as references he's always like . I can't do better ! I just don't like drawing that stuff . Yeah , see I would believe him , but he's never been known for his legible handwriting or well . . . people have never really been able to understand what he puts on paper - lets just leave it at that
But no one really uses our school emails , like the teachers that email a lot always ask for our hotmail cause that way they know we get it

Yeah . . . that is one good point . But for some reason , the teachers always ask , oh did you get the email I sent ? the next day . And I mean , come on . They know that we know that they know that we check our emails everyday . We're teenagers . Come on .

Oooooh . yeah I remember I had this one teacher in year 8 or something . He was like super tall and apparently he would look down every girls' top I could never be comfortable in his class ever again . . .
But on the plus side , the one creepy/scary teacher I have now , like refuses to email anyone Like , I'm sick at the moment , so I'm at home all the time (thus all the time to reply ) and I emailed him asking him to send me the notes and stuff , apparently he asked my whole class if anyone was going to see me - the super infectious person . And everyone said no . . . do I get a reply to my email . . . no . So thats kinda annoying . But on the plus side - and excuse not to do any science while I'm sick

That reminds me a sport teacher that used to go to our school! He used to be my sisters teacher!
He would like come into the girls changerooms and look up the girls skirts some times!
It was funny cause, his name was Mr Perkins, so everybody called him Mr Pervkins! HAHA!!!
My SOSE teacher is creepy! And I have another 2 years of him to go! *sigh*
He reminds me of my orthodontist! He creeps me out! Luckly my braces are coming off in two weeks! YAY!!!
