Hey, could I ask you for some advice?  How do you get people to commission you?  I want to try to do the same, but I always seem to be ignored in the past and I'm weary to try again.

I'm probably the worst person to ask, aha! xD

I rarely accept paid commissions since I work full time and don't have school to worry about.

I do artwork for either trades, item commissions (like griffia items or characters), raffles and only rarely take USD (my track record is three and it was because they really wanted to commission me!).

So I'm very sorry, I don't have a very good idea. I know some people request my art mainly because they like me, have met me in person and support my art outside of Deviantart since I work an artist alley. So if I had to make an assumption based on me and my other art friends: Having a good rates sheet and clear examples helps too. I would say having a great online personality and advertising helps! Since a lot of people will 50% want to commission you to because they like you and your art and 50% will definitely want you to draw something for them. If you have more questions though, I do have a better recommendation from an art friends who actively commission and can ask them for more feedback.
