it is illegal because Adobe has copyright on it, copyright means that only they legally have the right to copy it in any form, also it is actually illegal to use the same copy on more than one computer, whether you purchased the disks or not

sorry for taking so long to answer this, I had written the answer and I thought I had sent it, but I hadn't apparently I closed the tab and deleted the message, anyway this is how you do it
when you have nothing open, drag your mouse as far to the lower right as you can so that it is off the screen, then press PrtSc on your keyboard, then open up Microsoft Paint and hit Ctrl+V, then go to "File > Save As", name it something like "desktop_screenshot" and save it on your desktop, then you go to where you upload pictures and then upload it under this Catagory
Desktop & Customization > Desktop Screenshots > Windows (or whatever system you have on your computer)
then go to that same drop-down menu at the top of the screen and click "Edit Settings & Profile" then you go to "Public > Userpage Display" then go down to where it says "Desktop Screenshot" there is a selection menu to the right of that, it should say none, the menu should contain all of your deviations in the category I said above, select your deviation and then go to the bottom of the page where it says "ok" click that button and check your profile page, your desktop screenshot should now be displayed
