hey, and I are working on the Story of the Blanks animation, and we were wandering how you do the variating line width in your vectors (one end of the line is thick and it gets thinner). We've both been using the line tool in Flash, but we both have access to all of the programs in CS5.5 Production Premium.

I use Illustrator to make my vectors. I'm not sure if you heard me say this in the Skype chat, but I actually make a vector of the outline itself; instead of treating the outline like a line, I treat it like it's own shape and go around the outside and back on the inside with it with the Pen tool. It allows for more detail and is more accurate to the show's style.

okay, so we could do the same thing in flash by creating another line that splits from the existing one and then putting fill there, then removing the lines.
