Thank you so much. I had fun but I'll have to celebrate it this weekend. I had to work.

Sorry, I've been very busy. I did quite a lot of drawings but I haven't posted them yet. I'm happy but not that satisfied. On the other hand I think it's normal to feel that way.

How about you? How have you been doing?

No problem. I think so too. I recognize the feeling anyway.

I've been doing well, thank you. Spent last weekend with my boyfriend and his parents in a vacation apartment by the sea, which was nice. Got to see some nice sunsets and walk by the beach. Haven't been drawing much, unfortunately, but I'm trying to remedy that.Β

Oh, that's good to know you're doing well. It's true, it's really hard to draw when you're busy because of work. I tried drawing, but sometimes the result was not really good. Then I told myself it doesn't really matter, as long as I could draw. Btw, I really appreciate you replying to me. More like your the first friend I ever made here. β™₯β™₯β™₯β™₯

That's the best attitude to have in my opinion. I certainly get more practice when I don't spend too much time on making everything perfect.Β

Me too! I've never really been good at being social online, bit I do my best, even if I can sometime be a bit slow to respond!

It is fine. You can reply anytime you want. Me too because I am not really that active though I try to be whenever I can. I've also met other artists online but only few lasted.

Feel free to give me a poke, if I am absent for long or if you think I missed one of your works.

Okay I will and you too. Sorry, I haven't been active. Btw. How are you?

I'm well, thank you. I'm in the second week of my summer vacation, so I have plenty of time to draw and read (although I've been reading more than drawing). The first week was spent with my parents going for nature walks and visiting museums and such, which was very nice.

How are you doing?

Wow, that's good, especially visiting museums, though some people find it quite boring. Glad you had fun. I'm fine, I haven't drawn for a month, and I missed doing it already so I might draw again.

Btw, I replied to your question. I hope you could help me out there.

I love museums! We went to a museum with glass art, which was quite amazing. So many wonderful pieces, and it seems like such a difficult medium to work in.

If you get a little time and energy, you should definitely draw a little, even if it is just a little doodling or a sketch! I usually feel that the longer it goes between drawing the harder it is to sit down and get back to it.

I saw your other comment, don't worry, I was just trying to find a good way to reply. I tried looking for some good tutorials for line value, but couldn't find what I had in mind. A second look gave me what I was looking for.

That's good. You can also find some inspiration by going to museums. I'm curious about the glass art, what kind of art was it?

I agree, this month I've been experiencing headaches/dizziness because I had injured my head last year at the bathroom. Once I feel better I'll get back to it.

Sorry if I had to make it a bit difficult for you. I really do appreciate you helping me out.

Yes, going to museums doesn't always inspire me to make anything specific, but it usually inspires me to just do something.

Some of the glass art was very conceptual, while some it was also very beautiful. Some of it, I wouldn't have guessed was glass without the descriptions! It was this museum: glasmuseet.dk/udstillinger/?la…

You can see some more pictures here: glasmuseet.dk/young-glass-2017…

I'm very sorry to hear about your headaches/dizziness. Is it something that recours often? In any case, I hope you feel better soon!

No need to apologize! I'm always happy to help.

My friend told me to visit museums or attend some art events that might help me trigger something. Well, you know sometimes we experience artist block.

I felt much better now, it just sometimes hinders me from drawing. The scar still hurt and I am very sensitive when someone's touching my head.

That sounds like good advice, I can see how that might help with an art block.

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better for now.
