Q. where did you those picΒ΄s of these children - it seems that is somewhere in centralamerica?
I still have fresh memorys from my travels in Mexico and Guatemala - And iΒ΄m clearly remebering the glue-sniffing kids from guatemala right now.

Ouch. I had blocked the glue sniffing children out of my mind until now. Those memories are like a hard smack in the face. It is so sad and disturbing- I assume you know why they sniff the glue, right?? - It kills their hunger pains... along with the rest of their body and brain. It's so sad. I can still smell the glue they carried around with them. You're right- the pic's were taken in Honduras. When and what did you go to Central America for??

IΒ΄m Sorry - it wasnΒ΄t my intention to disturb you. enough of this glue thing this far.
I had a lot of itntensions to do my travel.
1. i love traveling, just being on the road refreshs my mind. So I was a tourist.
2. I had an "scientific" Interest especially in the yucatan. I study a subject called "Ethnology with special interest in the Old-Americas(another speciality: the mayas)". a mix of anthropology and archeology.
3. I wanted(ItΒ΄s my motherΒ΄s mothertongue) and needed(because we need spanish in our institute) to learn spanish. In Guatemala itΒ΄s quite cheap. cheaper than just going for a hike from germany to spain and take lessions there. Also my intension was to learn "latinspanish".
4. I wanted to "see" what iΒ΄m studying.
IΒ΄m addicted to new experiences. I had a lot of them.
I was one of the only ones in my spanish school to recognize these poor kids in cleaned-up-for-fat-gringo-tourists Antigua. Only i one medicine student from switzerland had also the eyes for these things, because she wanted to attend to some social work in Vera Cruz.
