Hey my friend, I've been on a artblock lately and been doing collages of my sharpies on my cell phone using photo tools with effects, just want to know if that meets the standards of your sharpie mixed media folder. Yes, my daughters and I had a lot of fun! Picked up tons of free food, went to the movies, walked to the museum, did a bit of shopping, ate lots of junk food and stayed up late. lol!

Listening to them right now. Β Local Natives is definitely a lot different from them, but they are really good music to listen to while being artsy or doing work, their most popular song is Wide Eyes, but idk can't place a favourite myself. Β Whoah! Β Ok was not expecting a harmonica! Β Never heard such a combination like that before. Β they're really talented, and passionate. Β Kokoro no Nai Machi was the first in the results on google that popped up, so that's what I listened to. Β I could see myself getting into them.

Yeah, I have been listening to their music non stop for weeks. I download 3 more of their albums last night actually, have most of them now. The most recent one, The End of the World is AMAZING and you can find the whole album on YouTube. Also look up the Shangri-La album, and Shion album on YouTube. They are just insanely eclectic and versatile. Very glad to hear that you dig them already from what you've been able to find. Let me know if you need to track any of the albums down or I can even send them to you if you want them badly enough.

haha! I know what you mean. I listen to a couple of bands like that. I'm a sucker for lyrics too, so even if the song itself isn't that great, good lyrics can suck me in and make me like it.

Well, the lyrics were actually a turn off for me, because at first it sounded like he was writing down anything that rimed, but turns out everything it was pretty much poetry. Β Lately talented musicians have been attracting me, like people who play the instruments well.

My younger brother is a musician, taught himself how to play guitar at 13. I, however, am not musically inclined at all. I have the utmost respect for people that play an instrument. So for me, the lyrics have to be solid, paint a picture or pull on my emotions in some way.Β
