Me too!! But one part (you know the one. Don't want to do spoilers here) was almost tear-jerking. But at least it resolved in the end in a way that everyone was happy. : )

What did you use to draw it?

I used various brushes in Photoshop set to different opacities to gve it that painted look. There was one brush that was like a dry brush and I used that one a lot for the shading/textures.

It looks good. I've seen a movie poster for Coraline with a similar look. It has Coraline standinding in the middle with a black shadow of the Other Mother behind Coraline with her hands draped on Coraline's shoulders with the tagline "Oh. My. God."
