Thanks. That really means a lot to me.
I want to add more tutorials. Anything in particular you'd like to see? There are so many great ones out there already...

Currently, I'm trying to improve at drawing faces. The eyes are fun to experiment with now that I have a basic understanding of where they fit in the skull and how they move in the orbit.
Now I'm trying to get a basic understanding of how the nose is shaped. I'm finding it a little harder to figure out than the eyes because I feel like the angle of the nostrils, size of nostrils, and the shape/size of the tip of the nose vary a lot from person to person, and the general shape is also harder to understand than layers over a spherical eye.
I've looked for tutorials on noses. Some of them help a little bit, but the majority of them make the tutorial in a way that wouldn't help me if I wanted to try drawing it at any other angle besides a front view. They often just do the line art without any outline, and then shade it, and then the tutorial is done.
If you did a tutorial on how to draw realistic and/or stylistic noses, it would be wonderful, but if you don't have time, some advice would also be extremely appreciated.

I was unsure whether to try a nose or an ear tutorial.
I'll do the nosey stuff first, then - and keep your requirements in the back of my head.

That's very nice of you, thank you
I've always been interested in other people's stories about how they improved over time. I think the process of learning something like drawing is so fascinating, and can be unique by person.
How long have you been drawing for?

Do you count the duck I drew on my parent's furniture using ballpoint at the age of three?
I guess we've all been doodling and studying in some way or the other. A big personal step for me was combining drawing with anatomy studies during uni. I also ditched pencils for a while to counter my crippling perfectionism. Ballpoint is very unforgiving, but rewarding once you get past your ego. This is why cross-hatching stayed with be as a basic technique. Now I want to concentrate on colour again, focusing on oil and water colour.
I put a little shading thingie online on twitter, if you're interested: twitter.com/zeichenleere
