aww, i miss you too

i know i haven't been active on here for a long time so the obvious response to this may be, "well, it's your own fault for leaving! just come back ", but what i always loved about this site and look back on fondly is the community that's been built here. i always received so much encouragement and support, even from total strangers, and it made all the difference in my life as a writer.

i am actively writing and considering coming back to dA. still weighing the pros and cons (especially from a time management perspective as school starts up again), but i'll keep you posted

i'm good, except my knee is bothering me today because of the weather (which reminds me i need to go take some advil). i'm adjusting pretty well to being on campus, and my roommates and i get along great. i start classes monday, and we'll see how i'm doing then

a bit sick at the moment haha, i've got a cold that makes my head want to explode. other than that things are pretty good. i know i've been awful quiet lately, but finishing up my senior year's been hectic. i'm happy to know where i'm going next year though, off to gettysburg! it's just what i was looking for, a small liberal arts school about three hours from home, and i fell in love with the campus when i visited. i'm looking to major in english with a writing concentration, and probably a minor in education.

now that i've rambled a bit, how are things with you?

I'm doing fairly well, doing a lot of cleaning the past few weeks. It's nice to make myself busy, I don't mind cleaning, I just dislike when everyone messes up my just-cleaned things.

turns out the lingering congestion from what i thought was an all but cleared up cold is, as i found out from my doctor today, bronchitis. yay.

haha, i totally understand. except usually it's me messing up just-cleaned things, and then i look around wondering how i could've possibly made a mess this fast i'm actually due for a good cleaning session. my desk is so cluttered i'm sitting on my bed with my laptop trying to get some writing done. but my floor is clear (for the most part) and my windows are open... sunlight always seems to make everything look a little better

Haha, I do that too. Then I usually have to pick up or tidy at least a little. Oh, cleaning would be good. Aw, sunlight really does! It gives it that warm inviting feel. Besides it should look like you live there, right?
