i'm so sorry for replying so late!!!
the last two weeks i've been wrapping up my first semester of college so i've been mostly focused on that & finals.
i also had to plan a christmas party for friends so that took up some time.
thennn, my body does that thing where it shuts down right on break and i got a horrible stomach flu. i've been sick for the last three days so the only thing i've been doing is laying in bed while rewatching some old shows, lmaoo. 

but how have you been?? i also hope life has been treating you pretty swell!

but yo! how did finals go?? did you finish them? did you kick them in the butt? i hope you take care of yourself in between finals; ate and drank enough, got enough sleep, etc.!

speaking of, the stomach flu's been going around my mom's school too! they almost had to close it on break bc so many teachers and students were getting sick!
ooo what shows?? a friend of mine's been pestering me to watch made in abyss and a few other anime aaa hahah

aa i've been............kinda?? good?? i guess? tbh, it's been a rough few weeks too for me. my old 5th grade teacher passed away last week (he's been sick for a few weeks in the hospital), my dad had risky surgery the same week, AND an old family friend was messaged me saying he was diagnosed with cancer the day my dad came home from the hospital.
and then, yesterday, the kpop star jonghyun died (police are saying it was suicide). (the boy band he was a part of was one of the kpop bands that got me hooked on kpop. plus, he was a really sweet guy who fought for mental illness and lgbt rights.) so his death struck another hard blow.
plus/lastly, this'll be the first christmas (i think) where my family and i aren't visiting my aunt in the nursing home. so that's hard too.

eh, sorry for ranting.... that was rude of me what w/ ur own issues going on.

i think my finals went pretty good, the only one i had trouble with was my statistics one, but i don't believe i failed it or anything. going to tutoring on saturday was incredibly helpful.

ahh, i actually still live with my parents at home because it's so much easier to carpool or just drive there. plus, dorming is expensive so i'd rather not. it was really fun tho, super glad i got to see a bunch of friends that i hadn't seen in a long time.

i didn't get the stomach flu until the day after the party, so i'm incredibly thankful for that. it's highly contagious so gotta watch out. i still have a bit of stomach cramps, but i'm no longer fatigue or nauseous so that's good. i hope tomorrow is the day i feel better cause i don't want a repeat of last year where i got the stomach flu on christmas and slept through the entire day. i hope your mom is doing ok & doesn't contact anything bc i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!

i've just been re-watching things that wouldn't i wouldn't mind not finishing completely in case i fall asleep through it like the sitcom friends or south park or that's 70 show. i'm saving shows like the new season of voltron or the punisher for when i'm feeling better so i'd have no problem staying up late finishing them. hmm, i don't think i've heard of abyss before? i have a friend who always sends me anime recommendations so i may ask her about it

oh my goodness, that's horrible. i'm so sorry for you and the rest of the people for you. i hope with my all my heart your dad is okay and your family friend will also be okay. really, i want you to know that if you ever need someone to talk to, i'm here. 

death is always something so dark and tragic, so i hope they rest in peace. i've never been one who's listened to a lot of k-pop but i always found them to be pretty cool groups. the news makes my heart hurt, i hope he rest in peace. 

i also feel bad with your aunt, is there not a way you can visit her some other time after christmas at least. kind of make it another christmas, but with her perhaps? 

& please don't feel like this was rude at all! my problems are so small compared to what you are dealing with. remember that i'm here for you and will listen to all your ranting and will attempt to provide you with all the support you need!! really, i hope you get through these dark times and hopefully have nothing but good coming your way!! <33

really, how so?

my only complaint is that i feel as though the problems are resolving a bit too quickly. by that, i mean that i think the way hide got all the ghouls to work with him seemed too easy? maybe we could have gotten more info as to how he persuaded them and so on.

i will say, that my favorite part was the pannel where hide & akira high five each other, while amon smiles fondly at them. beautiful, amazing.

that's kind of what i was uncomfortable with too (aa haha maybe i could reworded that better whoops)

i mean, yeah they did think about it
but i feel like they didn't give it enough thought
i feel like he's wrapping it up too fast; like he's leaving loose ends? if that makes any sense
it was going well until the ghouls and hide came into the ccg. it was interesting hearing more about how a kagune works and all that but still.
also, as much as i love suzuya, i felt like he'd kind of put up more of a fight? i don't know. but i guess his thinking w/ shinohara makes sense...
i did like tho, how he wrote saiko and urie's answers to whether they fight w/ ghouls or not. i think it'd made sense for them. also saiko's soo precious!! haha she loves and misses kaneki/haise so much. such a sweetheart. never change

but that is true!!! i loved seeing akira and hide high five each other!
and amon finally genuinely smiling after who knows how long!

i mean, weren't the ghouls fighting for their lives against the ccg just a few chapters ago?
maybe ishida will show a flashback as to how hide convinced them in a later chapter...
i agree with you 100% on suzuya. i remember seeing a post saying they were suspicious of suzuya's willingness to join the ghouls so easily. maybe he has a hidden motive? who knows.
things are just going too quickly for my taste.

when saiko expressed her desire to fight alongside the ghouls, i wept! i love her character and amon's reaction to her response!

maybe... i just remembered how he sometimes does that. like, he'll introduce some big plot twist w/ little to not context and then refer back to so many ch. later
maybe?? i mean,, he has that innocent smile so i'm kind of hoping not. but still, that smile could mean anything. he's done crazier things w/ a smile on his face in the past so... tho his squad's faces didn't seem to hold any ulterior motive so meh.

well so far we haven't seen suzuya  other than when he agreed to help.
plus, all we've seen is everyone else coming up w/ a way to find and save kaneki amidst his latest goth scene phase transformation
(SORRY I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF AAA I';M TERRIBLE HAHAHA)
but the last chapter did show him waking up sooo!!!! maybe we'll finally be getting into it!
and maybe we'll also see whether suzuya'll end up enacting his own agenda or not

SAIKO IS PRECIOUS I LOVE HER! even the other two (not aura's son and tooru tho. still don't like them) new qs!
i'm starting to warm up to them. i was heartbroken when the guy's uncle or w/e died!!!! aaaaa i wish him every happiness when :re is over
cross our fingers and pray that we'll get a happy qs/kaneki reunion and not a tragic one!

also kinda nervous about aura's son and tooru. like all we got from them was that they had survived yomo's final attack and are now continuing their search for kaneki. tho we don't get to see where they specifically went or w/e. i am not okay w/ that!

i wouldn't watch it a second time maybe ?? ( it's kinda like with "A Tale of Two Cities." i liked the book a lot but i wouldn't read it again )

at first i was a little bit wary about my "pun filled child turned morbid creepy (yet interesting) intimidating investigator", but now i'm rooting for him all the way. i need him to survive this, especially after the cameo with hide (which i am still W R Ec ked about). he has suffered too much already and i just want him to finally have a happy ending.
