I've been meaning to note you, actually. My comp is finally over (extensions) and then I only got two. They are both so good I can't choose, so I was wondering if you would have time to draw two of those BnW pics so I can give them both a joint 1st? ...I've just seen this after my last comment on Wrex...gaaah, I've been up to my eyes in css for the past 6 hours. Right, excellent...now do moar!!!! Nothing like practise *cracks the whip*. One thing I will say is when you're doing face to face pieces is eye contact between the subjects is important...that's not taking anything away from what you've done but the human eye naturally goes to the eyes of the subject in a drawing 'tis all. Best thing to do is to use a ruler between the eyes to make sure they meet.

I DID notice that after I finished the whole thing (that her eyes weren't meeting Wrex's, despite his meeting hers), but by then I'd already made dark spots that would be.... *really* hard to erase and make look good again. This is my first time drawing two figures with this much detail, my first time drawing two faces that are actually looking at each other, my first time drawing Wrex, my first time drawing a human face with that much realism..... *faints*

Yeah, this venture was a first on many fronts. I also took a few pages from your book in regards to her shading, as well as her hair.

So, I've tried out a bunch of new techniques and mushed 'em all together with a bunch of new experiences, and this is what plopped out.
I'm rather proud of it. ^.^
And it's all thanks to you.

I think it's a bloody good piece too...and I noticed the hair technique ..I'm flattered!!!

Wrex is awesome...and it's your first time too!! Your human face is also actually very good for someone with little experience of it, you'll improve very quickly, so keep doing human faces where you can I stand to my previous comments about you have=ing the raw talent... and it's showing in each piece you do...I'm proud of you Spyke

I've left a comment on your latest piece You captured the emotion in the piece, well done! Oh, a request huh?...asari are similar to turians with the hair tentacle things but obviously human features, so break the piece up into two sections, that should help with drawing it, don't get too caught up in detail, get the overall look right first.

Ego tickling...lol!...I have a feather duster for that somewhere!!
