DSP was lame... i think i ended up getting a C or something cause I didn't know what was going on.. but i just finished ELEC 484. pretty stoked about it. one more semester till i grad!!!!

Hey man, just wondering...
I'm having trouble with night shots. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to reduce the digital grain? You have some nice almost grainless night shots in your gallery and I was wondering how you managed that. I went out the other night with my tripod with relatively good light levels and still I got a substantial ammount of grain. You can't screw around with the ISO or anything on this camera, so I'm stuck.
Do you have any tricks?

Ya I was all excited to go take some snow pictures, then it took me like 4 hours to charge my batteries and the snow was all melted lol I still went out and got some shots and came up with my new piece Emphatic Streets... I hope it snows more, it probably will but ya I'm not going to wait around next time. Dude what's your battery life situation with your camera? I find that they don't last very long and take a long time to charge... it kind of sucks. And if you try and use a regular AAs it eats it after like 1 photo there's no point. Is it kind of like that for you?

yeah i'm pretty sure it'll snow again!
but as far as the battery situation goes, i can get about 120 - 140 pics. i use rechargables. the nickel metal hydride (niMH)... one thing when looking for rechargables is the mAH. get ones that are AT LEAST 2100mAH.. i have some that are 2100 and some that are 2500, and they work great! they're energizers. regular AAs are death... don't even bother using them.. but yeah, when you turn on your camera, it draws a lot of energy from your batteries cause of the LCD screen, so for regular AAs, it'll just suck the crap out of those things. that's why you need a higher mAH battery. hope this helps

I have 2100mAh and only a 16mb memory card. I get only 20 something pics on highest quality but I'm getting a new memory card soon. But ya anyways I'll have to really pay attention to how long the batteries stay charged thanks for your input.

Ahaha, my gallery is nothing special, trust me. I perfer not to display much of my photography on the internet for various reasons. my gallery's very sloppy cause im lazy and careless about websites.
