i am a 28 year old Hawaiian mix plate. i love to hike, camp, dive, fish, anything outdoors. i am a student of kendo, i train hard and fight hard. i am a musician, music is a big part of me, i play 'ukulele, harmonica, piano,congas/bongos, lol im inclined to pick up anything and play it. i listen to music from all over the world. i love books, poetry, TV, and movies. i am a tiger therian and a furry (like that's not obvious lol). and my one dream is to see the end of western civilization so the world can get back to doing things the right way.

Hey bro, what's up!? I've gotta know where you get your kauila wood from, I've been trying to look for quality online sources for bulk orders but to no avail have I found any reliable source. I'm asking about the wood because I've inquired a sword company called Baltimore Knife & Sword to construct a concept I have but, I would like the handle to be crafted from dense hard wood instead of composite material; plus the wood handle will serve a visual aesthetic in the sense of keeping the weapon designed with traditional methods and ideology. So, can you help me out?

as i understand it, it is illegal to buy and sell kauila wood, i get mine from a limited supply my friend was lucky enough to acquire, i dont know a reliable source to find it either, it needs to come to you somehow.

do u know of any books that have the hawaiian names/legends for the constelations and stars i'm going to start a little project where i take at least 1 pic of a constellations for a year to show how they move and what/when we can see certain stars etc, i will be posting it on DA gut it's mostly to practice shooting stars and to teach my kids about the stars
if you know of any books or web pages that could help i would appreciate it hyn,

i dont know any titles myself, but look into navigation that is where a lot of the star traditions will be.

i have poked around but im sorry i dont know of any books or sources for hawaiian star constellations. the best i can offer is to seek some sources concerning Hawaiian navigation, Nainoa Thompson, or along those lines. as they navigate by the stars you might find luck there.
