I am so glad to find you on here!! Yupper, Tom and i are still together....... 1 year and 1 month!!!!! doing really well! I am soooo happy for you two! Awww cute lil' babe! you should submit pics or something once you give birth!
Since August of last year, after we graduated, Lindsay Shea and I went down to Grand Rapids to Davenport University. We have about 2 weeks left there!!! can't wait to be free!! I'm considering getting my RN in Nursing close to home...but who the hell knows!!! I'm thinking about taking sometime off.....
I have a job down in G.R in Woodland Mall, and i work at the Burger King in R.C too...so yea, been pretty busy!! So what have you been up to other than...yea......getting ready for baby??!! We SHOULD keep in contact! Well i'll ttyl!!!!!

It sounds like you have been real busy! are you going to go in to singing? I remember you were awsome at that! I am living in Big Rapids and engaged now, I'm mostly a house wife. I paint a lot I was working at Art works until I got pregnant and they fired me because it made them look bad to have an 18 yr old unmarried pregnant girl putting her work up next to snobby artist with masters degrees. Since then I haven't really found another place to show my art yet. I 'm not real sure if I will go to college now, I want to go but its more important to be a great mother. My fiance works at Ferris for the time being and is starting a computer consulting bussiness in May so if that works out we should be able to move out of this apartment. Isn't daven port a bussiness school? Are you taking up bussiness now? I played soccer there the summer between my junior and senior year. So yea not to much going on here. Keep me updated on how thing with you are going I will definatly post pictures of the baby. talk to ya later, bye

I first started at Davenport, going to get an associates in Computer Networking......but i've found that's just not what i'm looking for, and am maybe considering getting my RN in Nursing. But who the hell knows.....there are just so many things i'm interested in!!!.....i still LOVE singing, but i don't think i'd ever do it professionally, too much competition!
Well damn...that really sucks about Art Works, Fuck 'em then, they don't deserve ya! i think it definetly is very important to be the best mother you can be, i have no doubt that you will be! What apartments in B.R do you live in?? You might have told me before.....but not sure!! oh well! ....gotta get going, only about two weeks of school's left and and I are in DU's computer lab...along with what seems to be every other student in the Univeristy!!!! Everyone's seeming to try to cram in every lil' bit of homework and papers and presentations that can in before school's over!!!!!! so gotta get back to the fun!!! TTYL!

Computer networking is what my fiance better known as "Joe" does. Its a hard field to find work in hes really struggling to find a job this summer. Joe has been working on a data base at Ferris but were barley making it and the contract is up in May. It doesn't make it any easier that he has been slackin off in school for the past four years and now hes a couple years away from a degree. I haven't even started school, now I don't want to leave my baby with some stranger so it may be a few more years before I start school if ever. Once you have a baby everything is really put in perspective and its changes your life. I don't smoke, drink , take pills,or even eat junk food. I only eat organic food. A year ago I would have never thought this would be my life, its crazy.

Anyways I still think you could make it as a singer. But if its just a hobbie for you I understand completely. Nursing is a good field to go into there is always demand for nurses and always will be, its a real secure field. The money is real good too. I thought about doing it my self but maby after the baby is in school.Right now we are living at "Ever Green" ( income bases apartments) 1805 milton ave. apt 134 A. we have been here since December the rent is a lot more reasonable here ours is about $200 a month compared to our last apartment (not income based) which was $650 a month. We are hoping to move into country manor when Joe gets a good job. I hope all is well with you and Tom ! Best of luck in the lab. TTYL

wow...i wish Joe all the best in finding a job....yea, finding a job in certain fields now a days seems to be like finding a needle in a hay stack...but i know you two will manage! I can only imagine how much of an impact bringing a new life into this world would be! I sometimes just get frustrated when lil' ones cry for a minute and i dont' know what the hell they want!!! .....yea, there is no manual on motherhood, but I know you'll be just as loving, supportive, and caring as you can be!

I don't know about the singing.....ya know, i've often kidded my self about trying out for American Idol....but hey, ya never know right?? ....one of my guy friends here and I went out for some desert where he works and then we sat and listened to a piano player who has people just come up and sing if they want, somewhat like karaoke, but more classy.....they REALLY wanted me to sing, but for some reason i just froze up! Then by the time i was willing to look through the selection, we had to drive this EXTREMELY drunk woman home. course.....but i have the BIGGEST urge to sing there, and think i will soon. who knows! Wow, it's awesome that you found a place for $200, much more affordable!! $$$I might just have to stop by sometime to see what's up!!!

I agree, there is a great need for nurses, but the thing is that some of the universities or colleges have 2-3 year waiting lists!!! but i shall see. I'm planning on shadowing my cousin in the E.R at the Spectrum Health in Big Rapids during the summer so we'll see how that goes! Well ttyl!!

Good idea to shadow your cousin and see if you really want to be a nurse before you go to school for it. You are definatly welcome to come over any time!I'm always home waiting for the baby to come. I would not ever have the courage to sing in front of any one so I don't blame you for freezing up. I'm sure when you do sing everyone will be impressed. :hug I was the first time I heard you sing! Why not American Idol ? it can't hurt to try.

I just went and visited my brother, sister-in-law, and their week-old baby!! He is soo tiny we call him peanut! He weighed 5lb 12oz when he was born, alittle premature, but a few days after he lost a lot of weight, and is now only 5lb 2oz!!!! But he's doing real well. Holding him just made me marvel at the thought of having children.....awwww......not for a long while yea, but who knows!! well ttyl gurlie!

That would be great I would love to see you guys. I may go in to labor while your here but that will only make for a more interesting time. I bet you would blow American Idol away have you ever watched it ? most of the people on there are a joke! they must be paid to sing so bad on national telivision. You have talent and sing better than most people on the radio today. you should write a song of your own "if you haven't already" and go get a record deal. screw american idol they get higher ratings when people fail "thats why there can only be one American Idol " out of the 10-50 awsome artist they narrow it down to only to crush them in front of everyone thats bullshit.

Your better than that! I want your autograph before you become famous and forget me. Babies are great I have only held one in my life for less than 5 minutes and I fell in love with it, so I know how you feel. I recommend becomming financially secure before you decide to have one because thats a major stress when your pregnant. Other than that its pretty easy you just gain a lot of weight and you have to keep reminding your self its for the baby. FYI You don't expierence all the annoying problems like heart burn and morning sickness if you eat organic food. When you feel the baby move in side you for the first time your hooked theres an unbreakable bond that only you and the baby can understand. Guys are a little different its like they can't comprehend that theres a baby inside of you and not a cock blocker. I think that changes when they hold the baby for the first time though. Thats why I'm having the baby at home so joe can watch the birth and catch the baby then he will really feel connected to the baby forever. Sounds really cheezy doesn't it! well thats the hormones for you. TTYL

Your right.....screw AI!!!! They can kiss my booty!!! Oh my gosh that would DEFINITELY make for an interesting day if you went into labor while we were there!!! hey, ya never know! Yea, i can imagine being pregnant and expecting a baby while not being financially secure, being a little more stressful than normal......but things don't always work out perfectly and that's ok.

Thanx for the organic food tip! didn't really know that. I figured that it would naturally be better for the baby, but hadn't been clued in on morning sickness and heartburn. wow, i bet that feeling a little person, your baby, inside you moving around would be such a humbling experience and just such an awesome emotion! Men will never fully understand, but incorporating Joe into the birth will definitely open his eyes quite a bit! Are you just having a midwife with you, or are you trying some unique technique for having the baby?? I have heard of a few different ones like having the baby in water, ect...but didn't know what you were planning on doing. All natural??? if so i commend you greatly!! :s Always better for the babe, but i don't know what i'd do in that situation.......DRUGS!!!! GIVE ME DRUGS!!!!!!! , but who knows!!!!

HOw are you doing? I had three baby showers last weekend and our apartment had to be inspected between all the cleaning and baby showers I had no energy left, so most of monday and tuesday I was sleeping. I'm having a midwife and two of her assistants. they have delivered more baby's than most doctors anyways and I'm pretty confident that if thousands other weman could do it with no pain killers, with just the mid wives so can I. Besides back in the olden days they did this all the time. Pains killers rob you of the real expierence of the birth and make it harder on your body because you don't feel whats hurting so you don't move and your muscles get torn apart. Alright no more details its just better this way (hopefully). I'll let you know. Well I'm gonna get some food and go to bed.

yea, i definitely agree with you on the painkillers, and give you MAJOR props on going it all natural!! i don't really know for certain what i'm gonna do if i have children... guess i'll see when i come to that bridge. well i'm happy that things are going well, and your midwives seem pretty qualified, i'd imagine that that'd have to be just as qualified as a doctor...just in a different way.... well you get some food and some rest!! ttyl!
