same thing with a thousand splendid suns,, with these books, hosseini has a strong sense of "theme" - i don't want to spoil anything though! it's always fun to guess what he's trying to say 

i had to read a thousand splendid suns for my ap english class, but it ended being a fun book to read (fun is a relative word when it comes to reading sad books haha)

we also read the stranger by albert camus, chronicle of a death foretold by gabriel garcia marquez, and paradise of the blind by duong thu huong --- all of these are really good books and i highly recommend them!! (︶ v ︶)

AWESOME (* v *) the stranger is very..philosophical?? it's hard to understand why camus wrote this book in the first place but you really have to put yourself in the shoes of the narrator. that's good! i'm glad you're getting back into them - for me, i was never comfortable enough to read, i ended up getting distracted or thinking about something else WHILE i'm reading so i'm turning pages but i'm not actually reading?? that happens a lot actually.

well not very graphic, it could possibly trigger you because there are themes about suicide;;

i cant really describe but i mean like-- there are all those little details that will come up again and youll be like "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH"
