I'm ok. Finished with university now so I'm back at home, which is probably why I'm closer on the nearby deviants thing.

yep. home is watford. heh. and i have a degree woo! I also now know that in no way at all do I want to be a programmer.

heh, well, mostly it's because not only do i not enjoy programming, i'm not very good at it either. at least, in coming up with solutions to problems in anywhere approaching a reasonable amount of time or actually translating what i want to do into actual code. if all i would have to do as a programmer was search out code other people had put together, smush those bits together and bugfix it... i could probably do it. luckily, i took a software engineering degree, so it's not all programming i learnt about - i've got some good management and project running stuff in there and unlike most of the people on my course, i did loads of extra-curricular stuff to help make me a well-rounded employee.
ideally, i just want to be an office minion for a while.

many years ago i had a job 'back-engineering' somebody's code and making it work (he hadn't left any documentation!). that was fun. i don't think i would really like doing it from scratch tho. and i'm sure my brain is not up to it anymore anyway
