I'm sorry if my explaination are bad ;v;
Adopt are 'something' that you can buy. In this case something is character!
People will set their price for sale. You have 2 type of monney in here DA point     and real money (most of people use paypal to pay and recieve) you can check how much da point you have on shop option
When you buy them you'll be the owner of the character but not the owner of design. You still have to credit the designer
There are many way to adopt the character e.g. setprice, auction, ota etc.
Setprice or SP - normal type of adopt. Designer will set the price and you'll buy them with that price

Auction - designer will set the sb, mi and ab
Sb or start bid is the price for start the auction
Mi or min bid is price that increase at least
Ab or autobuy is thr price that you can buy them immediately
E.g. sb 1 pt / mi 2 pts / ab 30 pts
It'll be start the bid for 1 pt and if you want the character, you must bid more than the lastest bid for 2 pts. But if you dont want to wait the bid you can ab them for 30 pts

Ota = offer to adopt. You can offer many thing up to the designer
Dta = draw to adopt. You can draw the character to adopt. And the designer will chose the winner
Raffle - you must do some condition to participate in the event. The winner will chose randomly
