i'm kinda new to the fe series, i only joined the fandom 7 months ago, so. my favorite fe character is midori/midoriko
and my favorite mother character is claus.

i'm actually somewhat new to the mother series myself LOL. unfortunately, i haven't beaten any of the games yet because i'm always forgetting where i left off.
I've been into fe a lot longer than the mother series, mainly because fe games are readily more available to me haha. my favorite is franz from sacred stones if you've gotten around to playing that one. ;0

Yeah i find the mother series pretty hard too, but i keep playing it anyway lmao. the torture is worth it.
I haven't been able to get my hands on the most recent fe game, so i don't really know that much about it. I recommend that you play sacred stones when you do get an emulator though, it's how i was introduced to the series haha.
tbh i get lazy sometimes too so it's okay.

I know right. I think Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings is the hardest out of all of them...? It's been a while since I've played the games, soo.
I've been able to, yo, Midori's from it. I'll make sure I will play Sacred Stones, and the rest of the FE games once I get an emulator. ; v ;

Mother 1 was the games i progressed in the furthest before i got completely stuck. I lost the save file on top of that so it's just "lol I'll play later." And then I never touched it again.
Aaaaa yay! ;w; The game's play style is similar to awakening and fates, so I don't think the game's gonna throw you any curveballs besides permadeath.

Omg rip~! I know whenever I get stuck on a game, I'm just like, "yeah i'm not touching this ever again." And then I don't ever touch it again, which annoys me.

I don't really know actually. I played on an emulator so I always reloaded a bunch of save slots LOL. I think soft-reset might apply to a legitimate copy of the game??
