Video games you're going to need a Dazzle (~$80) or if you want to record in Hd you need a HDPVR (200). If you can connect your console to your computer directly maybe you can screen capture it that way, but again you're going to need to throw money for those kinds of things. Podcasts I have no idea, probably just a webcam/mic.

I can give you better descriptions though if that would help.

Also, have you decided what costume you'd like her to be wearing? Either vest/pants/leggings/gloves or bodysuit/corset/gloves/boots.
