My guidance counselor had training over the past couple days, when she got back she told me about the training, it was about self harm. She said that she had been looking for a root cause for me for the past two years, pretty much as long as I've known her, what the training told her that it was a childhood trauma, which includes lack of validation from parents. How they say to suck it up and just get over it. She also told me that she thinks I fall into the disassociation group. I do it because I feel dead inside. I couldn't believe how true it was, seeing it on paper was so strange. Anyway, thought you might find that interesting

It is very interesting, I can relate a bit to how you feel. My fathers mother died on the 24th of December. My birthday is the on the 27th. I had to sit there by the hospital bed and watch her die. That and being bullied shit-less as a kid. Check me out on FanFiction.net. I am going to come up with a small section for her.
